Harrisville, PA, is home to the appropriately named The Family Tradition Restaurant. The owners, Dave and Carolyn Carr, purchased what used to be called The Spot in 1985. Since then, the restaurant has undergone changes in the décor, menus, and staff. However, the customer base has remained constant and loyal to this icon in northern Butler County.
Located on Route 8 about 20 miles north of Butler, PA, and 5 miles east of Grove City, PA, The Family Tradition attracts local customers as well as an abundance of travelers. The numerous camp grounds and hunting camps in the area provide a seasonal customer base and an extended family for the restaurant. Regardless of whom you are and where you are from, you are sure to feel at home at The Family Tradition Restaurant.
In December 2008, the new Talkn Tables were installed. Dave and Carolyn Carr are very pleased with the new tables for several reasons. First, the tables match perfectly with the recent updates to the restaurant. Next, the customers reactions are extremely positive. The wait staff takes pride in keeping the tables clean and shiny. Finally, the advertisers are receiving business inquiries in the short time these tables have been in the restaurant.
